Personal Information

Married to my lovely wife for over forty years, my family of four daughters and one son has been the joy of my life.  My wife and I are now doubly blessed with nine grandsons and four granddaughters.  I have been active in church leadership, civic affairs, and have resided in the Greater Seattle area for over forty years giving me many acquaintances and great knowledge of the area.  Professional memberships include membership in the National Association of Realtors, the Washington Association of Realtors, the King County Association of Realtors, and the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

Training has been completed for the professional designation Certified eMarketing Specialist (CMS).  With current research statistics showing that over 80% of all home searches start on the internet, the ability to properly market on the internet is of prime importance.  Every listing is marketed not only with the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (agents only) and on the Coldwell Banker national public site, but also on multiple additional public-accessible real estate websites for maximum internet exposure.  Every listing, regardless of size always includes not just the far too common agent-taken substandard photos but professional photography and musical virtual tours to create the very best first impression.

Helping first-time homebuyers find their first home is a specialty.  I am certified by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission to hold public seminars outlining special state programs for first-time home buyer assistance.   Click here for information about the $8000 First-Time Homebuyer tax credit.

A percentage of all personal commissions is pledged to  The Home Foundation, whose mission is to:

  • Inform and educate others concerning human trafficking, in particular the trafficking of children, a major world-wide tragedy that has become a serious problem in our country as well.
  • Provide financial support for the building of shelters and orphanages.  Funds from the Home Foundation recently helped provide a wing for the Jubilee Orphanage in India which will house an additional 75 children, orphaned when their young mothers died from AIDS contracted by forced sexual slavery.
  • Provide funding for professional counseling and other assistance to children who are rescued from this terrible evil scourge.

The Home Foundation was founded and is underwritten by Curb Records recording artist and winner of the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 GMA Female Vocalist of the Year award, Natalie Grant, the youngest of my five children.

An additional commission percentage is pledged to other local charitable causes.
